Seattle Concerts to See in 2022

Not to be Captain Obvious™ but 2021 was a really tough year for live music and entertainment. A lot of shows have been cancelled or are being rescheduled. It’s easy to feel discourage but at The Crocodile, we’re not going to let that get us down! We’ve got high hopes for the new year (thank you vaccines). Here are our staff’s picks for concerts in Seattle this year you can’t miss!

Seattle Concerts to See in 2022

Toña Zubia - General Manager, The Hotel Crocodile

I am looking forward to Built to Spill and haven’t seen them live in many years. I was gifted a mix CD way back in the very early aughts and it was titled “Music for Your…”, which is where I first heard a few Built to Spill songs. The CD had no track list, so it took me a few years to identify every artist on it, being pre Shazam days and all! Anyway, those songs on that mix CD, & Built to Spill specifically, changed my musical life for the better. Find tickets to see Built to Spill on January 26, 2022 at The Crocodile here.

Val Foster -Technical Director, The Crocodile

I’m looking forward to Karl Denson's Tiny Universe. Having worked with this group many times on the East Coast, these shows take a lot of work to pull off. It is worth every once of effort ... every ... single ... time. Amazing musician, at the top of their game. Not one to miss! Find tickets to see Karl Denson on January 21, 2022 at The Crocodile here.

Nikki Barron - Marketing, The Crocodile

I'm looking forward to our monthly dance night Talcum with The Emerald City Soul Club. I love garage and 60's soul music and how The Emerald City Soul Club features rare local artists in their mixes. Find tickets for Talcum January 22, 2022 at Madame Lou's here

Blair Rehder - Security Manager, The Crocodile

I'm really looking forward to Thursday! Had way too much fun working their shows at the old place when they played two nights and covered their Full Collapse and War All the Time albums in their entirety. Brought me back to my high school emo kid days, and can't wait to see them again!

Find tickets to see Thursday on February 9, 2022 at The Crocodile here.

Adam Wakeling - General Manager, The Crocodile

Hard to choose! I’m looking forward to Otoboke Beaver, Viagra Boys, and Amyl and The Sniffers! Find tickets to these shows here.

Sam Song - Security Manager, The Crocodile

Code Orange on April 10th. They bring a heavy thrashy energy that is infectious. Saw them open for Messugah a few years ago and I'm still hooked to this day. Find tickets for April 10th, 2022 at The Crocodile here.

Susan Silver - Investor, The Crocodile

There are so many amazing shows I'm looking forward to at The Crocodile in early 2022 - Mudhoney, amazing comedy, Amber Mark and tons more. But I'm counting down the days until my daughter, Lily, makes her Seattle debut in her first band, Josie On The Rocks. They play at Madame Lou's on January 15th with the ultra groovy Moroccan Dog. Find tickets for Josie On The Rocks on January 15th, 2022 here.

Hunter Motto - Talent Buyer, The Crocodile

I'm looking forward to The Shrine on 1/22 in The Crocodile Showroom. Ahamefule Oluo (of Industrial Revelation) has put together a truly incredible band for this monthly jazz, funk, soul gathering which takes inspiration from Fela Kuti's New Afrika Shrine and DC's all-night go-gos. Find tickets for The Shrine on January 22, 2022 here.
