Seattle Women in Music playing Belltown Bloom Music Fest

Belltown Bloom is May 6th and 7th, 2022. Find tickets here.

We’re proud to present the second annual Belltown Bloom, an all-ages multi-venue Seattle music festival featuring two nights of music from artists around the globe on May 6th and 7th, 2022. The weekend will serve as a platform for artists to bloom both artistically and professionally and will showcase the diverse and impeccable talent of rising stars in Seattle’s backyard. In celebration of International Women’s month we’re sharing a few local favorites playing the fest.

LA FONDA

Fronted by sisters Veronica and Valerie Topacio, La Fonda is a lyrically-driven, indie band with harmonically-rich vocals, 60s surf-esque guitars, catchy melodies with a 90s alt-rock nostalgia. Known for their knock-out live shows, La Fonda straddles the line of familiar while evolving on the northwest’s roots in the 90’s riot grrrl scene that brought us Sleater-Kinney and Heavens to Betsy. LISTEN

KING SHEIM

Upbeat, punk-pop created by Seattle native, Celeste Felsheim, King Sheim combines Seattle’s grunge and punk rock legacy with her smart songwriting and impactful poetry. LISTEN

TRES LECHES

You haven’t lived until you’ve seen Tres Leches wildly crawl around the stage while switching instruments mid-song never missing a beat during their epic live shows. Their music is Seattle grunge meets Mexico City’s notorious punk rock scene, while also being melodic and ethereal. LISTEN

LEMON BOY

Born during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, Lemon Boy is a newer Seattle band that is resurrecting a DIY pop punk sound. Lemon Boy is funny, has something to say, and it is catchy as hell. LISTEN

Payge Turner, who famously wooed judges of NBC’s “The Voice” with her soul-filled bluesy vocals will take the stage alongside Los Angeles pop-noir songstress Maiah Manser.  Joining them are over 30 of the region’s most talented up-and-coming punk, soul, indie and dream-pop bands and artists.
